Eithne is a fully qualified pilates Instructor. Eithne's other areas of interest include personal fitness, personal training & swimming instruction. Eithne has over 13 years experience in the Health and fitness Industry. Eithne's first steps into Pilates were during her employment at the Stand House Hotel Leisure Centre where she was Assistant Manager.
Eithne has now been instructing various Pilate's classes for over five years including mat, Pre-natal, Swiss ball, Pilates circle, Bands, Foam roller and most recently Reformer Pilates.
Eithne has great passion and enthusiasm in the whole area of exercise and personal well being. Her energy and enjoyment of Pilates and exercise radiates through her classes. Come along to one of Eithne's Pilates classes soon and you are sure to feel revived and renewed.

I joined pilates in January of 2011 suffering with a very bad foot injury. Eithne has done tremendous work with me. My foot has improved so much, it's amazing. I was just after having my third baby, all three by C -section, and having done nothing after my first two, my body was totally out of shape and well overweight. It was then that I realised it was time to change. I was introduced to pilates and I have changed my diet completely. Even after the first month I could notice the difference. Since starting Pilates with Eithne in February, my lower back problems have disappeared. Also the tensions in my neck and shoulder have gone away completely. I would not miss my weekly class for anything as the benefits are there for all to see. I now have improved posture and a toned tummy. To people of all ages interested in good healthy excercise !!! Four years ago I was advised by my doctor to try pilates as I was having problems with my shoulder and my back. I found some classes but I was not satisfied with them. Eventually after six months I found Eithne's classes. Eithne quickly found my problem areas and she guided and encouraged me in working on them. Gradually I could see the improvement in my shoulder and back. Her new studio called "Pilates for Life" is a great success. Her classes are so varied, challenging and always enjoyable. Eithne is constantly changing the exercises and however many are in the class Eithne always manages to give individual attention to all in attendance. Now I feel so much better, the stiffness has gone from my shoulder and my general flexibility has greatly improved. I now attend two classes weekly. I highly recommend pilates with Eithne to all ages and all levels, the class has a lovely atmosphere and an excellent teacher, Thanks Eithne.

I have been attending pilates classes with Eithne for the last three years and I find it wonderful. From time to time I have some back problems and the pilates helps it greatly. Eithne is very careful and watchful and makes sure that the movements are tailored to suit each person's different needs. The classes are always varied which means we never get bored. I feel that my posture has improved since starting pilates and my flexibility has improved greatly. I feel so much better now and I attribute it to my weekly pilates classes. I enrolled in Eithnes' pilates class in February. I have suffered from lower back/hip pain and tension in my neck for several years. The relief and flexibility I have gained from these classes has allowed me to enjoy working in my garden again, take up golf and continue hiking without resorting to anti inflammatory tablets. (Happy days!!!) I look forward to pilates every Wednesday, as the class is great fun, Eithne creates a very relaxed and happy atmosphere as well as being an expert instructor.
